Syrian Army Forces Resume Attacks against Terrorists in Northern Hama (+Video)

TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Syrian army forces resumed and intensified attacks against terrorist groups in northern Hama province following several infiltration attempts by the militants this week.

The army attacks were focused on the Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham terrorist group and their large network of trenches that had been dug by them in southern Idlib as well as Jeish Al-Izza in northern Hama.

According to a Syrian military source, the army and their allied forces from the National Defense Forces (NDF) have been targeting the terrorist groups in Mhardeh region along the vast interprovincial areas between Hama and Idlib provinces during the past week, Al-Masdar reported.

The source added that the groups have clearly violated the demilitarized zone agreement by digging trenches and tunnels and have shown that they have no plans to adhere to the Sochi deal from September 17.

A video released by the state-owned Al-Ikhbariya TV channel shows the Syrian army in heavy battle with the terrorist groups across the northern Hama countryside after they ambushed the terrorists between Bir al Halba and Bir as Safania:
