Iran’s Afghari Wins Gold in Bulgarian Swimming Championships

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Mehrshad Afghari from Iran seized a gold medal in the Bulgaria Open Championships on Friday.

Sports

The Iranian swimmer won a gold in the men’s 100m butterfly with a time of 53.49 seconds.

Alex Ahtiainen from Estonia won the silver with 53.64 seconds.

The bronze medal went to Ukraine’s Lyubomyr Lemeshko who clocked 53.74 seconds.

The Bulgarian Open Championships are being held in Sofia from June 24 to 27.
