In comments during a visit to the northern province of Semnan on Monday, the IRGC commander hailed the rapport and affinity between the Iranian people and the establishment in confrontation with the adversaries.
“The fact that the Islamic Republic strikes the heart of the arrogance fearlessly while it is mindful of the full-fledged hostilities and their consequences indicates the power of the (Iranian) people’s faith, resistance and progress,” he stated.
The commander stressed that the Iranian armed forces’ self-confidence is inspired by the popular trust in the establishment.
In the early hours of April 14, the IRGC Aerospace Force launched a wave of cruise and ballistic missiles and drones against Israeli military targets in the occupied territories in retaliation for the Zionist regime’s April 1 airstrike that killed seven Iranian military commanders and advisers in Syria.
In a meeting with top military commanders later, Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei admired the Iranian Armed Forces for manifesting the country’s power and determination in the international arena by conducting the operation against the Israeli regime.
