General Ali Mohammad Naeini said the recent US moves, including the use of war imagery and the deployment of aircraft carriers, are part of an old tactic aimed at intimidation and coercive diplomacy.
He said the White House officials have been unsettled by Iran’s resistance during the armed sedition in early January this year and the 12-day war imposed in June 2025.
The spokesman said that after the rapid and decisive failure of the American sedition in Iran, Washington has intensified efforts to create tension and inject false fear into Iranian society. He stressed that such efforts stem from the fact that every anti-Iranian action has been confronted by strong popular resistance and national unity.
The United States is once again attempting to negatively influence public sentiment and perception in Iran through psychological operations, General Naeini warned.
Addressing US military threats, the spokesman said the reality on the battlefield differs from the enemy’s media narrative, emphasizing that Iran maintains full control over the situation.
He said the IRGC takes pride in serving as a shield for the Iranian nation against any conspiracy and reassured the public that the force is fully aware of enemy movements and has action plans for all possible scenarios.
The enemy has not forgotten Iran’s initial strikes on the Al Udeid base, he stated, adding that Iran possesses experience in defeating adversaries in modern warfare, even on a large scale and in the most dangerous and complex theaters.
