In a somber display of national unity and grief, Iranians across the country filled the streets on Sunday morning to honor the memory of Ayatollah Khamenei, who was martyred in a US and Israeli terrorist attack in Tehran on Saturday.
The mourners, clad in black, carried banners and photos of the late Leader, chanting slogans in his honor and venting their anger at the United States and the Zionist regime.
Ayatollah Khamenei led Iran and the Muslim Ummah for 37 years since the demise of the late founder of the Islamic Republic Imam Khomeini in 1989.
The Iranian Armed Forces have responded to the US-Israeli aggression by launching massive missile and drone strikes on Israeli-occupied territories and American bases in the region.
