Launching missile and drone attacks, Hezbollah targeted a military base south of Haifa in Israeli occupied territories on Sunday night.
The movement said in a statement that in retaliation for the assassination of Ayatollah Khamenei and in order to defend Lebanon and its people, and in response to the Zionist regime’s repeated aggressions, a missile site of the Israeli military south of Haifa was attacked by Hezbollah’s missiles.
It added that the resistance leaders emphasize that the continuation of Israeli aggression and the assassination of “our leaders, youth and people give us the right to defend ourselves and respond at the appropriate time and place.”
The statement went on to say that the Israeli regime cannot continue its aggression for fifteen month without a warning response to force the regime halt the aggression and withdraw from the occupied Lebanese territories.
Hezbollah underlined that its move is a legitimate defense reaction and that Lebanese officials must end the Israeli-American aggressions on the country.
