Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Hails Iran’s Defenders in Message for Qadr Night

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Ismail Baqaei paid tribute to the country’s frontline defenders in a message posted on social media on the occasion of Qadr Night, one of the holiest nights in the Islamic calendar.

“We extend our greetings to the modern narrators of the Arash epic, the proud figures who are today’s selfless heroes and tomorrow’s legends,” Baqaei wrote on his official account on X. “Those who, stationed at the launchers on the frontlines of defense, bestow new honor upon the saga of heroism.”

“They are the ones who have mocked death and consciously embraced martyrdom,” he added.

The spokesperson continued, “The nation of Iran salutes you, who, amidst dust and smoke, are the Siyavashan (plural of Siyavash, a legendary hero in Iranian literature) of our time, proving your purity and integrity by passing through fire.”

Baqaei described the defenders as “the champions of the Husseini field of honor, the heirs of the school of Imam Ali, and the true appreciators of Qadr Night.”

“Iran takes pride in your existence, and history will inscribe your names at its zenith,” he stated.

In his poetic tribute, Baqaei evoked the spirit of sacrifice and valor, writing:

The warriors sang anthems of battle,
They drove the enemy from their own homes,
It was their heads they gave without count,
It was their lives they poured out without measure.
