Hossein Poursaeidi and Hamidreza Jahanbakhsh, both professional judo athletes with years of experience, lost their lives during the aggressive and unlawful attacks by the US and Israeli regimes on Iranian soil.
The Judo Federation of Iran has strongly condemned the strikes targeting Iranian sports facilities and athletes.
In an official statement, the federation expressed its condolences to the Iranian nation and the judo community, saying:
"We mourn the martyrdom of Hossein Poursaeidi and Hamidreza Jahanbakhsh, two proud sons of the Islamic Republic of Iran, who were champions in judo and sacrificed their lives defending the security of our beloved Iran. We pray to Almighty God for the elevated status of their souls alongside the Imams (AS) and grant patience and great reward to their families."
