Ambiguities in US’ Hollywood-Style Narrative of Pilot Rescue Operation

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The American narrative of rescuing the crew members of a downed US fighter jet is seriously questionable and seems to be somewhat Hollywood style.

Defense

Several questions arise in this regard, including how was such an operation carried out with such a large amount of time and complexity—from entering Iranian territory to finding the pilot based on the tracker—then encountering a technical failure and then having to perform a secondary rescue operation again?

This scenario logically requires a more detailed examination and more documentation.

Another important point that has been raised in the American media and adds to the ambiguities is the condition of this pilot. It is said that he is seriously injured and the likelihood of his survival is low. This is while no clear images or documents have been published about the first pilot who was allegedly rescued, and there are serious doubts about his fate.

The question also arises about the second pilot: if the rescue operation was indeed successful, why is the possibility of his death being discussed at the same time? It is possible that the official narrative will later shift to the idea that “a rescue attempt was made, but the pilot lost his life,” which is itself a matter of serious doubt.

However, Iran’s official narrative insists that the American operation was a complete failure.

Even if we take the American narrative as a basis, it is noteworthy that a special operations helicopter suffered a technical malfunction inside Iranian territory. This alone indicates serious problems in the area of support and operational readiness; and this is while the operation is said to have been carried out in suitable weather conditions. Moreover, the US has claimed that Iran’s air defenses have been weakened and there was no obstacle to carrying out such an operation.
