Analysis: 45-Day Ceasefire under Shadow of War Has No Place in Iran's Policy

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – A temporary ceasefire in the US-Israeli military aggression accompanied by the shadow of war, without meeting Iran's necessary conditions for ending the onslaught, merely gives the enemy a chance to rebuild, Tasnim analysts said.

Axios, the American-Israeli media outlet, reported on Monday that some mediators are attempting to establish a temporary 45-day ceasefire in the current war, during which negotiations to end the conflict would take place. In effect, this means that the shadow of war persists even during these 45 days.

Although there has not yet been an official response to this matter, Axios is generally known as a media outlet for psychological operations of Mossad in the US, particularly regarding Iran.

What follows is an analysis of the Tasnim News Agency’s war commentary group concerning this report:

Trump is likely seeking to retreat from this threat for the third time, fully aware of Iran's decisive resolve to respond to any insanity regarding power plants and other infrastructure. This type of news may be aimed at preparing for this issue, although this is merely a possibility.

Iran has repeatedly stated that it does not agree to temporary ceasefires that maintain the shadow of war; for example, Iran recently opposed a 48-hour ceasefire. The reason for this opposition is obvious: the American-Zionist enemies, under pressure from the war and confused, intend to exploit the opportunity of usual and non-framed ceasefires to escape from the crisis of ammunition and strategic entanglement.

A temporary ceasefire accompanied by the shadow of war, without fulfilling Iran's necessary conditions for ending the conflict, simply allows the enemy to rebuild. Moreover, they will maintain the shadow of war over Iran even during this ceasefire, thereby benefiting from their anti-Iranian objectives in military, economic, political, and other domains.

Considering the frameworks that have been repeatedly stated by Iranian officials until now, a "temporary ceasefire maintaining the shadow of war" has no place in Iran's doctrine for ending the current war.

Iran has announced that the war can only end under conditions that include, among other things, a concrete guarantee against further aggression from American and Zionist enemies, along with several other non-negotiable conditions.

In addition, the matter of the new order regarding the Strait of Hormuz is self-evident; this strait will never return to the conditions that existed before the war.
