17 Martyred in Brutal Israeli Airstrikes on Southern Lebanon

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Israeli regime forces launched a fresh wave of deadly airstrikes on southern Lebanon on Thursday, slaughtering at least 17 civilians—including women and children—and wounding dozens more, according to Lebanon’s National News Agency (NNA).

In the town of Zrariyeh, an Israeli strike obliterated a residential building, massacring over 10 innocent civilians, the NNA reported.

Earlier, a separate Israeli air raid on Abbassiyeh claimed the lives of at least seven people, with many others critically injured.

The Zionist regime’s warplanes also pounded multiple towns, including Kafra, Jmaijmeh, Safad al-Battikh, Majdal Selm, and Deir Antar, while artillery shelling targeted Haris.

The latest atrocities follow Wednesday’s horrific attacks, which left 254 Lebanese martyrs and 1,165 wounded—including in the capital, Beirut.

Despite a so-called US-Iran ceasefire agreement announced just a day prior, the Israeli occupation forces have shown no restraint in their genocidal campaign.

Since March 2, the Lebanese Health Ministry confirms that Israeli aggression has martyred 1,739 civilians and injured 5,873 others.
