In a message marking Teachers’ Day, Major General Hatami said the Iranian Army has clearly understood the need to enhance its power and defensive preparedness in a way that enables it to carry out its critical mission of safeguarding Iran’s independence and territorial integrity in the best possible manner.

The commander added that the Army, relying on the power and backing of the great Iranian nation, will continue as in the past to stand against any threat and enmity.

“Today, the Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran is proud to stand, more prepared than ever, powerfully and with revolutionary insight, under the guidance and wise directives of the Commander-in-Chief, Ayatollah Seyed Mojtaba Khamenei, and relying on the strength and support of the great Iranian nation, as in the past, against any threat and hostility,” he underlined.
