Senior Commander Stresses US Defeat in War against Iran

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Deputy Chief of Iran's Army for Coordination Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari emphasized the defeat of the US in the war of aggression against Iran due to the bravery and steadfastness of the armed forces and the support of the nation.

Speaking in a meeting with Abuzar Qorban Shiroodi, head of the Iranian Civil Aviation Organization, Rear Admiral Sayyari referred to the wars in Vietnam and Venezuela, and said Washington was able to achieve its goals there through assassination, coup, and sabotage.

However, he said. America, for all its equipment and defense capabilities, will be defeated in the war against Iran due to the bravery and steadfastness of the armed forces and the support of the nation, who are always on the scene, and this will remain in history.

On February 28, the United States and the Israeli regime launched an unprovoked war of aggression against Iran, during which then Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei and several senior military officials were martyred.

Iranian Armed Forces responded with weeks of missile and drone strikes targeting American and Israeli military positions in the occupied territories and the Persian Gulf region, inflicting heavy damages in 100 waves of counterattacks over a period of 40 days.
