“A suitable number of Iranian missiles is now ready to be fired immediately towards a wider list of targets in the occupied territories if the Zionist regime of Israel responds to Iran,” the military source told the Tasnim News Agency.
The source at the same time noted that if Israel responds, the next round of Iranian operation will be more massive.
“Iran is ready to start a large-scale battle if the Zionists respond (to Iran), and the Zionists should listen to this warning,” the source reiterated.
In a statement released late Sunday, the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) said the missile operation was a direct response to the Zionist regime’s widespread crimes in Lebanon, which have resulted in the killing and mass displacement of civilians.
“In response to the extensive crime of the usurping Zionist regime in southern Lebanon, the killing and mass displacement of the oppressed people of Tyre, Nabatieh and other areas, including Dahiyeh Beirut, the Ramat David airbase, the origin of these aggressions, was targeted by ballistic missiles of the IRGC Aerospace Force,” the statement read.
