In comments at a meeting with grassroots social activists and public gathering organizers, held on Sunday, Araqchi emphasized the decisive role of public participation in frustrating enemies’ plots and contributing to the country’s strategic achievements.
He said what projected Iran’s real power to the world was not merely military capability but also national cohesion, the resilience of the Iranian nation and the conscious presence of the people in support of the country.
Referring to the achievements of the 12-day imposed war and the recent US-Israeli war of aggression against the Islamic Republic, the foreign minister said Iran has not only secured tactical and battlefield gains but also achieved important strategic outcomes whose effects are becoming visible in regional and international equations.
Addressing regional security developments, the foreign minister said the experience of the recent war has shown that lasting security, economic development and regional stability can only be achieved through cooperation, mutual understanding and recognition of the shared interests of all countries in the region, including the Islamic Republic of Iran.
He added that any future regional security structure would require the participation of all regional states and a collective approach to cooperation, a principle that Iran has consistently advocated.
