Addressing a meeting of the Supreme Judicial Council on Monday, Pezeshkian described the rule of law and the protection of people's rights as the foundation of a stable government, saying efforts to reduce inequality and improve livelihoods should remain a top priority.
He said Iran must maintain internal cohesion and coordinated decision-making while facing external threats, emphasizing that all branches of government should present a unified approach in implementing national policies.
The president also said his administration remains committed to safeguarding Iran's national rights and interests, rejecting claims that Tehran compromised its principles in diplomatic negotiations.
Pezeshkian acknowledged the economic impact of the US-Israeli war of aggression against Iran, saying the administration is working to preserve economic stability and ensure the supply of essential goods despite wartime conditions.
Concluding his remarks, Pezeshkian praised the Judiciary's role in upholding justice and protecting citizens' rights, describing the pursuit of justice as one of the country’s most important responsibilities.
