The IRGC said on Thursday that the strike was carried out earlier in the day as part of the continuation of Operation Nasr-2, describing it as a punitive response to US aggression.
According to the statement, Iranians have continued nationwide gatherings for 150 consecutive nights, demanding revenge for the blood of martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei and the expulsion of US forces from the region.
The IRGC said its Aerospace Force and Ground Force have continued confronting the "aggressor" with strength and courage alongside the Iranian people.
It stated that earlier on Thursday, Iranian forces attacked the US air base at Ali Al Salem in Kuwait, setting fire to and destroying two drone shelters and a fuel storage facility used by military aircraft and helicopters as part of Operation Nasr-2.
Addressing the people of Kuwait, the IRGC said the campaign to punish the "aggressor" will continue until the plundering of the wealth and national resources of Muslim nations come to an end and US "occupiers and looters" are expelled from the region.
