The display, featured in a teaser released by IRIB, includes the pilot’s ejection seat, part of the fighter jet’s canopy and a section of its tail.
Wreckage from other US and Israeli aircraft, as well as downed drones and missiles, has also been put on display at an exhibition.
The F-15 wreckage is reportedly being shown publicly for the first time.
IRGC Spokesman General Hossein Mohebbi previously told Tasnim that following the 12-day war, the IRGC Aerospace Force was tasked with developing an indigenous air defense capability. He said the project was rapidly completed and resulted in the development of a new domestic air defense system that was subsequently used during the imposed war.
Mohebbi also said the system had successfully intercepted an F-35 fighter during the conflict.
During the retaliatory missile and drone strikes conducted by the IRGC on US military bases in the region, numerous pieces of US military equipment were damaged or destroyed. These included various radar systems, air defense systems, AWACS and aerial refueling aircraft, manned and unmanned fighter aircraft, and aircraft shelters.
