Shahram Sadeqi was accused of driving his vehicle into several Law Enforcement Command (FARAJA) officers in Karaj on the night of January 8, 2026, during an American-Israeli coup.
The intentional act of running over the officers caused severe injuries to seven police personnel, affecting their heads, legs, hands and eyes. One of the officers, who had been deployed to help maintain public security, reportedly remained in a coma for three months.
Sadeqi fled the scene after setting his vehicle on fire. Following his arrest, he confessed that he had driven his vehicle at high speed toward the police officers, who were present at an intersection to restore order and security, despite not having been ordered to stop.
He admitted that after injuring seven officers, he continued driving before setting his vehicle on fire with the assistance of rioters.
Sadeqi’s action had received extensive support from anti-Iran media outlets.
The execution sentence was carried out early Sunday morning.
