“Norway will continue to support Ukraine's defense struggle,” Store said, Norwegian broadcaster NRK reported.

“Now we are sending a clear signal that Norway will continue to stand by, both civilian and military,” he said.

Of the total package, 70 billion krone ($7.5 billion) will be allocated to military support and 15 billion krone ($1.6 billion) to civilian assistance.

The 2027 commitment will mark the third consecutive year that Norway has provided 85 billion krone in annual support to Ukraine.

Store arrived in Kiev on Sunday alongside leaders from Nordic and Baltic countries.

During his visit, Store is expected to attend a summit between Ukraine and Nordic-Baltic countries, to take part in events marking Ukraine's National Flag Day and meet Ukrainian officials.
