The public relations office of the Tehran Province’s Sayyid al-Shohada Corps announced on Saturday that the sounds of explosions heard several hours earlier in the Damavand County area were related to training programs and the “Heydar Karrar” military exercise.
It said the sounds were produced as part of the scheduled activities of the exercise and related training programs.
Further details about the military exercise and its training activities will be announced if released by the relevant authorities.
