The forces entered the area around the village of Ain al-Nouriyah and moved toward Tal Ahmar, with the broadcaster reporting that the advancing force included tanks, military vehicles and armored personnel carriers.
According to the broadcaster’s correspondent, the force initially included more than five tanks and around 20 military vehicles carrying soldiers.
The latest incursion comes as the Israeli regime continues its attacks and military incursions across southern Syria.
On Saturday, Israeli regime forces renewed their shelling of the vicinity of Beit Jinn in the Damascus countryside and fired an artillery shell toward Ain al-Shaara village, which landed in agricultural land without reports of casualties.
Earlier, the United Nations Commission of Inquiry on Syria expressed deep concern over Israeli violations, saying the continued practices constitute violations of Syria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity and describing the situation as unacceptable and one that must end.
