In a telephone conversation on Monday night, Araqchi reaffirmed Iran’s commitment to Lebanon’s national sovereignty and territorial integrity and stressed Tehran’s full support for Lebanon’s resistance against Israeli occupation and aggression.
Berri, for his part, thanked Iran for its support for Lebanon and briefed Araqchi on the latest situation in southern Lebanon.
He also stressed the legal and moral responsibility of the international community and Islamic countries to stop the Israeli regime’s violations against Lebanon and hold those responsible accountable.
