The Iranian president has sent separate messages to National Leader of the Turkmen People and Chairman of the People’s Council Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow and President Serdar Berdimuhamedow.
In his message to Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow, Pezeshkian said Iran and Turkmenistan have consistently pursued mutually beneficial cooperation based on shared interests and the goodwill of the two countries’ senior officials.
He also expressed confidence that the close ties between the two nations would provide a strong basis for further strengthening and expanding bilateral cooperation in the interests of both peoples.
In a separate message to Serdar Berdimuhamedow, Pezeshkian highlighted the two countries’ deep historical, religious and civilizational commonalities, as well as their shared border and longstanding friendship.
He said these bonds constitute a solid foundation for consolidating and expanding mutually beneficial cooperation, expressing confidence that they would continue to contribute to the development of relations between Iran and Turkmenistan.
