Syrian sources reported that Israeli forces entered the village of Zubaida in central Quneitra on Tuesday with five military vehicles as students were heading to school, causing panic among residents.
During the operation, Israeli forces also abducted a young man from the village of al-Hurriya in northern Quneitra, according to the Syrian news network Al-Ekhbariya.
The latest raid came a day after Syrian sources reported another Israeli incursion involving 15 military vehicles in southern Quneitra.
Israeli forces shelled agricultural land between the towns of Bariqa and Kudna during that operation, according to the reports.
The repeated incursions have increasingly affected farmers, shepherds, civilians and children across Quneitra and neighboring Daraa province.
According to testimonies collected from residents, the number of people they know to have been detained has reached about 46 or 47, including five children.
Meanwhile, Israeli forces have reportedly carried out operations almost daily in several border areas, including searches and abductions that frequently target farmers and shepherds.
These operations have also involved temporary military checkpoints, searches of passing vehicles and inspections of civilian homes in villages and towns entered by Israeli forces.
Local sources say the incursions can occur without warning and are often accompanied by gunfire, raids and the closure of major roads.
Israeli regime forces have established multiple checkpoints along roads and prevented Syrian civilians from passing, sometimes leaving residents stranded for hours and disrupting their daily activities.
The escalation has left communities in southern Syria, particularly Quneitra, facing repeated disruptions and growing uncertainty as Israeli regime continues to occupy the border areas.
