In a post on his X account, Araqchi said his Monday’s talks with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov in Tehran covered a wide range of regional and international issues.
“Hosted FM Lavrov for timely talks in Tehran,” he wrote.
“We covered everything from Europe to West Asia, including Lebanon, Palestine, Ukraine and Yemen. Also focused on expansion of economic and nuclear cooperation,” Araqchi added.
“Never in our history have Iran and Russia worked as closely as now,” the top Iranian diplomat stated.
