During a meeting with Iran’s Judiciary Chief Gholamhossein Mohseni Ejei, the Leader stressed the need to strengthen the system’s social capital by promoting justice, safeguarding public rights, and tackling corruption and its underlying channels effectively.
The Leader emphasized the importance of swift, precise and decisive judicial proceedings, along with the timely enforcement of rulings to ensure their deterrent effect.
Ayatollah Khamenei further called for tangible and comprehensive transformation within the Judiciary, the maximum use of modern technologies in key areas, and continuous inspections to ensure the proper implementation of laws and help improve the management of organizations and institutions.
The Leader also underscored the need to pursue cases of criminal misconduct arising from failures to perform official duties, intensify efforts to combat crime and eliminate the conditions that enable violations in cooperation with relevant authorities, and seriously pursue the recovery of material and moral damages resulting from the crimes committed by the US-Zionist criminals.
At the beginning of the meeting, Mohseni Ejei presented a report on the Judiciary’s plans for its new term, including updating the judicial transformation document and accelerating the digitization and smart management of judicial affairs.
He said the initiatives are aimed at saving time in judicial proceedings, reducing costs, ensuring the soundness and accuracy of rulings, and enhancing the integrity of judiciary personnel.
