The Zionist regime’s light rail company announced that maintenance teams were assessing the damage and that train services on several lines would remain suspended until further notice and until all disruptions have been fully resolved.

While the Zionist regime’s officials have remained silent about the cybersecurity vulnerabilities of critical infrastructure, attributing the incident merely to a “power outage,” the recurrence of repeated light rail disruptions in al-Quds this month indicates that the city’s railroad network remains defenseless against cyberattacks.

Experts emphasize that electricity and railroad infrastructure today are heavily dependent on digital systems, making them among the most vulnerable targets in cyberwarfare. They warn that as long as these networks remain unprotected against cyber intrusions, any new attack could paralyze the entire urban transportation system. In other words, the suspension of train services in occupied al-Quds is an indication of the Zionist regime’s failure to protect its critical infrastructure against cyber threats.
