Iran Launches Missile Battery Production Line

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s Defense Minister inaugurated on Thursday the production line of manufacturing advanced military batteries used in missile systems.

“By launching this production line, we have been able to develop advanced products and managed to be self-sufficient in producing raw materials needed in missile, areal, naval and ground defense systems,” said Brigadier General Hossein Dehqan.

Utilizing scientific capacities of the country’s defense industry would thwart anti-Iran sanctions, he said.

The mass production of such advanced batteries will maximize accuracy as well as range of the missiles, Brigadier General Dehqan added.

The Iranian minister also reiterated that such achievements help Iran boost its deterrent power.

In recent years, the Islamic Republic of Iran has made great achievements in its defense sector and has attained self-sufficiency in producing essential military equipment and systems.

Tehran has repeatedly assured other nations that its military might poses no threat to the regional countries, saying that the Islamic Republic’s defense doctrine is entirely based on deterrence.
