About Trump's Address to Nation on Iran; I Lost, and I Lost Badly!

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – US President Donald Trump’s first address to the nation on the war against Iran was not an update on the "situation" but an update on the "declared objectives" so that after the war, Trump can actually claim victory.

Politics

There is a story of a sniper claimed to be very skilled; someone asked him to “try” his skill. The sniper fired a few shots and none of them hit the target. But he was too flawed to accept failure, so instead, he immediately drew a line around the hit points and said, "That was the goal from the beginning, and I succeeded."

That's pretty much the story of Trump's speech tonight and the important update that the White House promised. Along with the various and, of course, repetitive claims that Trump made tonight, the most important thing that happened was not an update on the "situation" but an update on the "declared objectives" so that after the end of the war which is likely to be in the coming days, Trump can actually claim victory.

The US had previously announced several goals for waging war against Iran: 1- Changing the political system in Iran 2- The presence of a ruling or political system in Iran that has surrendered to the US 3- Eliminating the defense capability of the Islamic Republic of Iran and 4- Ending Iran's nuclear capability.

Of course, the real goals of the US and Israel were even beyond the said objectives, and that was the disintegration of Iran; in a way that Iran could never oppose American arrogance in the region and the world.

However, after the start of the war, removing the Strait of Hormuz from Iranian control through military force became the most important goal of the US as part of its effort to prevent the destruction of the US prestige in the world.

But what did Trump actually said in his address to the nation: 1- Changing the political system in Iran was never one of the goals of the war 2- Changing the political system in Iran has actually happened!! 3- The US has no duty about the Strait of Hormuz, so whoever wants oil from the Strait of Hormuz should either buy it from the US or go and open the Strait themselves!

Trump also announced that he had achieved his goals of destroying Iran's nuclear and defense capabilities, and had completely destroyed Iran's navy and air force!

But what is the reality on the ground:

First: If Iran's naval power has been destroyed, how can America still complain about the closure of the Strait of Hormuz? Have the Martians taken control of the Strait of Hormuz?

Second: If Iran's missile power has been destroyed, who launched the heaviest missile attack on the Zionist regime last tonight? Did they come from the planet Mercury?

Third: Didn't America itself say that it had destroyed Iran's entire nuclear power in the 12-day war, so this time it is clearly lying. In fact, it is lying even more!

Fourth: One of the highlights of Trump's speech was actually his public declaration of inability to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, and for this reason, he effectively removed this goal as one of his own goals and admitted to a major failure.

Fifth: Talking about the political system in Iran having changed now makes everyone laugh. As some international journalists said in their comments, only a fool like Trump could replace Khamenei (Martyr Seyed Ali) with Khamenei (Ayatollah Seyed Mojtaba) and claim that the system has changed!

Accordingly, Trump's address had several clear meanings:

1. A clear declaration of failure to achieve the main goals of the more than month-long war against Iran

2. A propaganda achievements and laying the groundwork for declaring an imaginary victory after the next two or three weeks and even closer 3. A clear declaration of the inability to reopen the Strait of Hormuz as an important indicator in the war

4. An attempt to respond to the very strong criticism of public opinion within the United States by comparing himself with former American warmongers (if I am a savage person, my predecessors were equally or more savage!)
