Reports of New Flight Restrictions in Iran Rejected

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s Civil Aviation Organization denied reports claiming that new flight restrictions have been imposed on the country’s airspace, saying flight operations are continuing normally across the country.

Spokesman for the Civil Aviation Organization Majid Akhavan on Saturday dismissed reports about the issuance of a new NOTAM (Notice to Airmen) concerning Iranian airspace.

“No new NOTAM has been issued by this organization, and the country’s airspace conditions are normal,” Akhavan said.

He added that the situation in Iran’s skies remains unchanged and that flights are operating according to schedule as before.

The spokesman also noted that operations at the Ahvaz International Airport and Mahshahr Airport resumed earlier on Saturday morning.
