At least three Palestinians have been killed in Israeli attacks across the Gaza Strip, including a woman shot by Israeli forces in the central Bureij refugee camp and two people killed in an air strike on a vehicle in the al-Mawasi area, according to Palestinian medical sources cited by Iranian media.
In central Gaza, a woman was killed after Israeli forces opened fire in the Bureij refugee camp, according to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital.
Earlier, Israeli quadcopters fired toward homes in the camp, although it was not immediately clear whether the incidents were connected.
Meanwhile, at least two people were killed when an Israeli air strike targeted a vehicle in al-Mawasi, west of Khan Younis, according to the Nasser Medical Complex.
The number of people wounded in the strike was not immediately clear.
In another attack, an Israeli drone struck a camp for displaced Palestinians in the al-Naqaf area, northeast of Gaza City, killing one Palestinian and wounding three others.
Separately, one Palestinian was wounded by Israeli gunfire north of Khan Younis, while Israeli quadcopters continued firing toward homes in the Bureij refugee camp.
The attacks have continued despite a so-called “ceasefire” that has been in place since October.
According to the latest update from Gaza’s Health Ministry, the number of Palestinians killed in the Gaza Strip since the start of Israel’s genocidal war in October 2023 has reached at least 73,922, while 174,995 others have been wounded.
The ministry said the bodies of three Palestinians killed in Israeli attacks were brought to Gaza hospitals during the latest 24-hour reporting period, while another 18 people were wounded.
The figures bring the recorded death toll since the October “ceasefire” to at least 1,402, with 4,881 people wounded, the ministry said.
A total of 834 bodies have also been recovered from beneath the rubble since the ceasefire began.
