The office said in a statement that the Israeli strike targeted the building’s foundation and lower floors, causing severe damage that eventually resulted in the complete collapse of the structure.
It condemned the Israeli military for denying responsibility in an attempt to avoid legal accountability for the attack.
The media office warned that hundreds of other damaged residential buildings across the Gaza Strip remain at risk of collapse and called on the international community to pursue Israeli leaders before international courts over the war that it said has killed thousands of Palestinians.
Meanwhile, Israeli attacks and gunfire have continued across the war-battered Gaza Strip, with Palestinians reporting casualties in several areas.
Reporting from Gaza Strip, Palestine, Nour Khaled said several Palestinians were wounded by Israeli gunfire near the imposed “yellow line” ceasefire demarcation, areas controlled by the Israeli occupation that cover more than 70 percent of the Gaza Strip.
Heavy Israeli gunfire targeted tents housing displaced Palestinians near the line overnight, according to the report.
In southern Khan Younis, at least four Palestinians were injured in the Qatar Camp in the Hamad area, despite the location being some distance from the yellow line.
Similar attacks were reported in central Gaza along Salah al-Din Street between the Bureij and Maghazi refugee camps, where Palestinians were wounded by fire from Israeli military vehicles.
Artillery shelling also targeted areas where civilians were living, according to the report.
Separately, Gaza’s Health Ministry said at least four Palestinians were killed and 17 others wounded in Israeli attacks over the past 24 hours.
The ministry said one of the victims died from previous injuries, while three bodies were recovered from the rubble of destroyed buildings.
Since a so-called ceasefire took effect on October 11, 2025, the ministry said Israeli attacks have killed 1,394 Palestinians, wounded 4,839 others, and led to the recovery of 834 bodies.
