Hamas Spokesman Sami Abu Zuhri reiterated that such atrocities by Israel could not undermine Palestinians’ will, adding that the Resistance will continue to inflict great losses on the occupiers, Al-Aqsa TV reported.

Early Sunday, the Israeli artillery shells heavily rained down on the homes of citizens in al-Shejaiyah area, killing dozens of Palestinians and wounding at least 200.

Since Thursday, Israel has launched a ground invasion in the Gaza Strip after 10 days of bombarding the enclave from the air and sea.

Israel struck more than 100 separate sites in Gaza overnight on Thursday, in the first hours of its ground operation.

Gaza officials say hundreds Palestinians have been killed since fighting began on July 8, while more than 2,700 others have been injured in the 13-day Israeli assault.
