It was Persepolis’s third victory in a row in the season after the Reds defeated Foolad and Tractor Sazi.
Mehdi Taremi opened the scoring in the 46th minute in Tehran’s Takhti Stadium. Farshad Ahmadzadeh extended the lead in the 59th minute and Taremi made it 3-0 in the 88th minute.
Elsewhere, Esteghlal Khuzestan lost to Saipa 2-1 and Gostaresh Foolad edged past Sepidrood Rasht 1-0.
On Friday, Esteghlal will host Tractor Sazi in Tehran’s Azadi Stadium, Sepahan meet Pars Jonoubi, Siahjamegan face Foolad, Paykan play Zob Ahan and Sanat Naft meet Padideh.
