Syrian Army Inflicts Casualties on Terrorists in Hama’s Northern Region (+Video)

TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Syrian army troops operating in northern Hama province carried out an offensive against terrorist groups in the region in retaliation to their recent attacks in Idlib.

Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) reported from northwestern Hama province that army units shelled positions and gathering points of terrorists from the so-called “Turkistani Party” which embraces hundreds of foreign fighters in the Qastoun village at the al-Ghab Plain.

The report said scores of militants were killed in the shillings and many were injured, and their weapons depot was destroyed.

The Syrian army operation was carried out after terrorists positioned in al-Latamina town in the northern countryside on Monday targeted residential neighborhoods in Mharda city with rocket shells and injured two civilians, as well as causing material damages to the city neighborhoods.
