Esteghlal was held to a goalless draw in Tehran’s Azadi Stadium in front of about 5,000 spectators.
It was Farhad Majidi’s side’s second draw in two matches as it was held against Fajr Sepasi in Matchweek 4.
Sepahan and Tractor also battled to a 0-0 stalemate in Isfahan.
Earlier in the day, Persepolis was held to a 1-1 draw by Mes Rafsanjan in its away match, Foold edged Havadar in Ahvaz and Fajr Sepasi emerged 1-0 victorious over Paykan in Tehran.
Aluminum remained on top of the table with 11 points thanks to a better goal difference than Esteghlal.
