He pointed out that the team's continuous victories over formidable volleyball powerhouses reflect the faith, courage, high aspirations, and exceptional abilities of Iran's youth, reaffirming that the Islamic Republic can consistently reach new heights and cultivate its remarkable talents.
The president concluded his message by wishing the team ongoing success and expressing hope for even greater accomplishments in future international competitions, thereby reinforcing the spirit of excellence in Iranian sports.
Iran defended its title in the 2025 FIVB Volleyball Men’s U-21 World Championship, beating Italy 3-1 (15-25, 25-18, 25-22, 25-14) on Sunday.
In the 2023 edition held in Manama, Iran had defeated Italy 3-2 in the final.
It was Iran’s ninth win in the competition as the young Persians had defeated Kazakhstan, Puerto Rico, South Korea, Canada, Poland, Argentina, China and the US in the competition.
The competition was held in Jiangmen, China from August 21 to 31.
