During the meeting on Thursday evening, following his arrival from Kazakhstan, President Pezeshkian highlighted that today’s world faces unprecedented challenges that demand stronger communication and cooperation between countries.
The Iranian president praised Turkmenistan’s initiative to host the International Forum of Peace and Trust, calling it a timely and necessary platform to address global and regional concerns.
He also stressed that the forum’s constructive approach should extend beyond global dialogue to foster regional trust, security, and stability.
Pezeshkian expressed gratitude for the invitation and noted the importance of Turkmenistan’s leadership in promoting collaboration among nations.
For his part, Berdimuhamedov welcomed Iran’s participation in the conference, emphasizing the value Ashgabat places on Tehran’s support.
The Turkmen leader noted the complexity of current global dynamics and underlined the significance of enhanced dialogue and consultation.
He also praised the strong bilateral relations with Iran, particularly in trade, culture, and humanitarian cooperation, and expressed hope for further deepening these ties.
