Alexander Dugin made the remark in an interview with Radio Sputnik on Tuesday, asserting that Israeli and US spy agencies, including Mossad and the CIA, are collaborating to achieve this goal, according to IRNA.
"I think that the Israeli and US spy structures, including Mossad and the entire CIA, are now united to complete the change of government in Iran this time," Dugin stated.
He characterized Iran as a key regional adversary of Israeli regime, contending that Israel exerts significant influence over the United States. "Israel is not only an ally of the United States, but a country that, for various reasons, largely imposes its policies on the United States," Dugin explained.
Dugin further elaborated on Israel's ambitions, suggesting a desire within the Zionist regime to establish a "great Israel" through territorial expansion. He pointed to the Israeli military's imagery as evidence of this aspiration, implying a planned offensive against Syria and Lebanon.
"Israel has its own problems, but it is building a 'great Israel'," Dugin said, adding, "Even the formal attire of the Israeli military show a map of a great Israel, which means attacking Syria and destroying Lebanon."
According to Dugin, Iran’s staunch resistance represents a major obstacle to Israel’s major plan for regional dominance. "Israel seeks to realize this plan and occupy areas of the region, even Egypt, but Iran is preventing this imperial model and is completely based on hard power," he added.
"Accordingly, Israel seeks to organize government change operations in Iran and the United States supports it," Dugin concluded.
Violent rioters favoring monarchy have vandalized public and private properties in a number of cities across Iran in the past recent days, killing dozens of ordinary people and security forces and inflicted injuries on others.
