Shamkhani: Any US Attack Will Trigger Retaliation on Tel Aviv

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Former secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council Ali Shamkhani warned that any US military action would be regarded as the start of a full-scale war and prompt an immediate, comprehensive, and unprecedented Iranian response, including retaliation against Tel Aviv.

Shamkhani, a member of Iran’s Defense Council, issued the warning in a message posted on his X account, reacting to threats made by US President Donald Trump and the recent deployment of American military forces to the Middle East region.

Rejecting the notion of a limited military strike, Shamkhani stressed that any action by the United States would be considered the beginning of a war.

“A limited strike is an illusion. Any military action by the United States—from any origin and at any level—will be considered the start of a war, and its response will be immediate, comprehensive, and unprecedented, targeting the aggressor, the heart of Tel Aviv, and all supporters of the aggressor,” he wrote.
