During a farewell ceremony for Iran’s ambassadors to Lebanon and Algeria, held in Tehran on Tuesday, Pezeshkian stressed that Iran’s foreign policy is firmly committed to the balanced and purposeful development of relations with countries that share its perspectives and interests.
He urged the ambassadors to adopt a comprehensive approach to strengthen ties across all sectors.
Pezeshkian highlighted the positive state of Iran’s political relations with many countries and said that, while constructive and ongoing diplomatic interactions exist, these relations must also extend into economic, commercial, and technological fields to deliver tangible and sustainable benefits for the peoples of both sides.
He also emphasized that deepening engagement with regional and Islamic countries would reinforce common interests and contribute to a more stable and secure region with broader economic cooperation.
Strengthening both bilateral and multilateral collaborations, the president noted, not only serves national interests but also promotes greater regional cohesion.
