Iran Intelligence Ministry, IRGC Joint Operation Destroys Terrorist Bases, Arms Caches

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s Ministry of Intelligence and the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) conducted a joint preemptive operation, destroying key bases and weapons caches used by separatist terrorist groups along the country’s western borders.

According to an official statement, the operation disrupted planned attacks backed by "American-Zionist enemies," who aimed to exploit regional war conditions to infiltrate Iran and launch strikes in urban and border areas.

A coordinated offensive by Iranian intelligence forces and the IRGC dismantled significant terrorist infrastructure, dealing heavy losses to militant factions.

The Ministry of Intelligence stated that these separatist groups, supported by foreign adversaries, intended to use the current regional tensions to carry out destabilizing attacks within Iran.

With the cooperation of local Kurds, Iran’s armed forces and intelligence personnel have successfully thwarted the enemy’s attempts to breach Iranian sovereignty, as they continue to monitor border movements closely, the statement concluded.
