“Our information indicates that this attack was carried out by Americans or Israelis under a ‘false flag,’ and its goal is to unnecessarily widen the war against targets that are not part of Iran's and the resistance's target data bank,” the military source told Tasnim.
“If Iran or the resistance attacks any location, they will officially announce it. The interests of the US and Israel in the region are certain targets for us, but these enemies want to destroy the infrastructures of other countries under the guise of a war with Iran through false flag operations. This is a warning to all countries in the region not to be deceived by the US and Israel,” the source added.
Regarding an attack on the radar of the Kuwait International Airport, the military source continued, “Despite the rumors and biased reporting by some Western media, the attack on the radar of the civilian airport in Kuwait was also carried out by the US and Israel and has nothing to do with Iran.”
The US and the Zionist regime launched a large-scale unprovoked military campaign against Iran following the assassination of Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, along with several senior military commanders and civilians on February 28.
The attacks have involved extensive aerial strikes on both military and civilian locations across Iran, causing significant casualties and widespread damage to infrastructure.
In response, the Iranian Armed Forces have carried out retaliatory operations, targeting American and Israeli positions in the occupied territories and at regional bases with waves of missiles and drones.
