The sources reported that their dispute has arisen over the war on Iran, as Trump believes that Witkoff and Kushner, who are Jewish, have implemented Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s plans to entangle the US in the war against Iran instead of considering the interests of the government of the United States in the war on Iran.
Trump has reportedly gotten angry at Witkoff and Kushner after failures in the fulfillment of purposes of the war, including the failure to overthrow the Islamic Republic, pave the way for disintegration of Iran by deploying separationist groups, and destroy Iran’s defense capabilities. Above all else, what has further infuriated Trump has been the US’ failure to take control of the Hormuz Strait, since the US’ military and political credibility has been damaged in the world as the strait has remained closed.
Witkoff and Kushner had apparently assured Trump that Iran’s threats to close the Strait of Hormuz and turn the war into a regional conflict was only a bluff. Moreover, no idea had been mooted about the possibility of Ayatollah Seyed Mojtaba Khamenei’s succession after the martyrdom of Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei.
Among the false news that convinced Trump to wage a war against Iran was the notion of limitations to Iran’s missile power and the possibility of eliminating such capability within four days to one week.
According to the sources, Trump believes that Witkoff and Kushner had acted as Jewish brokers of Netanyahu in the US administration instead of representing the US government.
Witkoff and Kushner had provided Trump with wrong data, assuring him that a lightning strike would dismantle Iran and force it to surrender. Now Trump believes that the mistaken information was not a result of scrutiny by Witkoff and Kushner, but the data provided by Netanyahu through third party techniques.
The sources claimed that during the past week, Trump has blocked his communication channels with Witkoff and Kushner about the war on Iran.
The US government has not adopted any stance on this matter so far.
