IRGC General Hits Back at US War Secretary for Rhetoric of Onslaught

TEHRAN (Tasnim) - The commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Aerospace Force lashed out at the US secretary of war for threatening Iran, warning that American forces, not Iran, face the real danger.

In a message posted on his X account, Brigadier General Majid Mousavi said the United States is the one sending its soldiers to their graves, not Iran returning to a “Stone Age.”

He denounced US leadership for being influenced by Hollywood-like fantasies, which have led them to threaten a civilization with over 6,000 years of history based on only 250 years of their own experience.

The US and the Israeli regime launched a large-scale unprovoked military campaign against Iran following the assassination of Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, along with several senior military commanders and civilians on February 28.

The attacks have involved extensive aerial strikes on both military and civilian locations across Iran, causing significant casualties and widespread damage to infrastructure.

In response, the Iranian Armed Forces have carried out retaliatory operations, targeting American and Israeli positions in the occupied territories and at regional bases with waves of missiles and drones.
