A seven-member delegation comprising directors of Shiite networks and organizations from Turkey met with Mostafa Feizi, deputy custodian of Astan Quds Razavi, in the holy city of Mashhad.
During the meeting, Kadir Akaras, secretary general of the Association of Shiite Clerics of Turkey and representative of the delegation, introduced the participants, including the director of Turkey’s Channel 14 and the head of the Istanbul-based International Kevser Charity Organization.
Akaras appreciated Astan Quds Razavi’s cooperation and relations with Shiite institutions and organizations in Turkey and called for the expansion of cultural, media, and religious interactions between Astan Quds and Turkish Shiite Muslims.
For his part, Feizi said that one of the main concerns of the custodianship of Astan Quds Razavi is “developing relations with the Islamic world and Shiites in other countries.”
“We hope that every year, compared to the previous year, we will witness an increase in the presence of Shiites and pilgrims from all corners of the world at the holy shrine of Imam Reza (AS), and that this spiritual movement will expand day by day,” he said.
Feizi described the holy shrine of Imam Reza (AS) as “a gateway for attracting and connecting Shiites around the world,” adding that the custodianship of Astan Quds has always emphasized that “serving the pilgrims of the holy shrine is our most important duty and mission.”
