Any New War on Iran to Bring More Surprises, Araqchi Warns

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The Iranian foreign minister said the US Congress has effectively acknowledged the scale of losses inflicted during the war on Iran, including the destruction of dozens of aircraft, while stressing that any future aggression would be met with even stronger responses from Tehran.

In a message posted on his X account, Abbas Araqchi pointed to confirmation of Iran’s military achievements during the US-Israeli war of aggression, including the downing of an advanced F-35 fighter jet.

He noted that Iran’s Armed Forces have gained valuable operational experience from the war and warned that a return to military confrontation against the Islamic Republic would produce “many more surprises.”

“Months after initiation of war on Iran, US Congress acknowledges loss of dozens of aircraft worth billions,” he said.

“Our powerful Armed Forces are confirmed as 1st to strike down a touted F-35,” he added.

“With lessons learned and knowledge we gained, return to war will feature many more surprises,” the foreign minister warned.
