Naqvi has traveled to Tehran to hold talks with Iranian officials.
The visit marks the second trip by Pakistan’s interior minister to Tehran in less than a week.
Last week, Naqvi conducted a high-level official visit to Tehran, engaging in a series of strategic meetings with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, and Interior Minister Eskandar Mo’meni.
His visit focused on the expansion of bilateral economic and scientific cooperation, the promotion of regional stability through Islamic unity, and Pakistan’s ongoing role as a mediator in negotiations between Iran and the United States.
The consultations came against a backdrop of recent military aggression by the United States and the Zionist regime against the Islamic Republic.
Iranian officials have emphasized that regional security can only be achieved through the withdrawal of external powers and the strengthening of ties between neighboring Islamic states.
Pakistan’s role was characterized as pivotal, with Tehran acknowledging Islamabad's "sincere and committed efforts" to reduce tensions and facilitate dialogue.
