Araqchi made the remarks during a meeting with Mojtaba Ferdowsipoor, the new head of the Interests Section of Iran in Egypt.
During the meeting, Ferdowsipoor presented a report on the latest state of relations between Tehran and Cairo, the course of political interactions, and the expanding cooperation between the two countries.
Referring to the strengthening of ties between Iran and Egypt in recent years, Araqchi described bilateral consultations as important for further developing relations and enhancing regional peace and stability.
Highlighting the position of the two countries in the Muslim world, the Iranian foreign minister emphasized the need to make full use of existing capacities to expand cooperation in various political, economic, and cultural fields.
The meeting also reviewed the latest developments in Iran-Egypt relations and ways to advance cooperation between the two nations.
